Benriach’s whisky-making philosophy is “Exploring Flavor Since 1898.” On Monday, October 25th at 6:30 pm we’re doing just that! Join us virtually as we dive into Benriach's unique history and production techniques to explore how Benriach creates the intricate layers of flavor that are found within the range of Single Malt expressions. By examining the range of eclectic casks from around the world as well as the different spirit styles they create (unpeated and peated) we can get a glimpse into how Benriach's Master Blender, Dr. Rachel Barrie, interviews these aspects of the whisky together to create these truly unique Single Malt expressions.
We’ll be joined by Senior Scotch & Irish Whisky Ambassador, Rory Glasgow, from Benrriach who will walk us through a tasting of 4 different expressions of Benriach Scotch and he will lead us in a discussion on how each expression was created using an unusual assortment of cask types and through the combination of both peated and unpeated whiskies. You won’t want to miss out on the exploration of the delectable flavors that these scotches bring to the table!
